The first of this journey.

Welcome! This feels so weird, so foreign, but so exhilarating. Here’s to the first blog post ever. THE FIRST. I can’t help but sing the Tik-Tok song that goes “its the first of the month” in my head as I write this post.

There’s something about firsts that our society puts so much emphasis on. Whether thats your first tooth, your first bike-ride or your first day of school. Firsts are a big accomplishment because its the beginning, the set-up for that event or action to happen continuously.

Firsts are fun, scary and elate. I’ve been looking forward to my posting my first blog for years now and the day has finally come. My first step towards my blog journey and I couldn’t be more excited and nervous.

The thing with firsts is that theres always a last too. You’re always wondering when that last will creep up on you. But for me, I don’t see a last blog post in sight. My heart is so in this. Every blog post is going to be treated and celebrated as my first because I don’t ever want this feeling, passion and love to drift away.

With that being said, welcome to my first. I’m so excited for this journey ahead and to let you see a side of me no one knows. My raw and authentic thoughts, passions and worries. Here’s to the first and many more.
